These are developments that will bring large-sweeping change to the Buford Highway corridor.

So, what does this look like?

As these widespread changes are being put into place in local, city, and county governments, it’s crucial that we have community representatives share their voice on these plans. We have posted a few of these here so that you can be aware of what to watch out for.

Generally, they can be plans in the Buford Highway Corridor that alter the look, function, and/or affordability of the region.

Ongoing Developments

  • Finalized this year, in 2024, this plan features types of new housing encouraged in Brookhaven, as well as future zoning plans.

  • The City of Doraville has put forth plans to provide a green walkway between North Fork Peachtree Creek and the City of Doraville and the MARTA station.
